Do I need a referral?
While a referral is not required, any previous eye care reports or test results you can provide will be valuable in assisting with your assessment.

Do you send appointment reminder?
Yes, we send you a SMS reminder one or two days before your appointment.

What To bring to an appointment?

  1. Medicare card, Private Health Insurance Details
  2. A list of your current medication
  3. Your current glasses or Ortho-K if you have one.

How long will my appointment take?
We recommend that you allow 30 to 40 minutes for your appointments. Some Ortho-k and Scleral Lens appointment can take up to 1 hour. You will be advised in advance if this is the case.

Do you bulk bill?
Medicare contributes part of your consultation fee, we will charge a gap fee for the part that is not covered by the Medicare.

What are your fees?
Our pricing reflects the specialized nature of our services, the complexity of your individual visual needs, and the time required for assessment and treatment. As each case is unique, we do not publish fixed fees. For a personalized estimate, please discuss this with our receptionist when booking your appointment and with your optometrist during your consultation.

Will I be dilated with eye drops?
Our new technology Optos retinal imaging minimizes the need for traditional eye dilation most of the time. Additionally, the technology has been proven to detect eye diseases early. In rare cases, your eye may still need to be dilated.

What if I need to be seen urgently?
New patients with emergency issues can contact us directly to arrange an urgent appointment. A brief note about the issue would be appreciated when you make an appointment online.
